How it works

A step by step guide to the process for preparing a will and power of attorney.

1. Apply online & pay

Our form takes you through key steps and can be used by individuals and couples. Once complete, you will be asked to book a phone appointment with our team. Our system then calculates the price based on your instructions, final changes can be made to your form before online payment. 2. Speak with one of our team

You will receive a telephone call at your chosen time to enable us to confirm the information you have provided. You will also be able to ask us any questions or discuss any concerns. The telephone call will usually take around 15 minutes.

3. Review your draft documents

You will receive your draft documents for review within 10 days of your call with a member of our team. You should check that the documents reflect your wishes and then contact us to arrange a convenient time to sign your documents.

4. Meet with a solicitor

As we have not met you in person prior to this step, we do need to meet with you. We can discuss what option will be most suitable for you to sign your documents when we confirm your information. This should take about 15 minutes and will be no longer than 30 minutes.

5. Brodies store your will

Following the meeting, you will receive copies of your documents for your records and the principals will be stored by Brodies at no additional cost.
